Luxury London living at the iconic Regents Crescent

We are proud to share news of our involvement in the development of Regents Crescent, a sweeping Grade I listed building, originally designed by John Nash, in the heart of London.

We are proud to share news of our involvement in the development of Regents Crescent, a sweeping Grade I listed building, originally designed by John Nash, in the heart of London.

Regents Crescent has been rebuilt and modernised to provide luxury residences and amenities, comprising 68 new apartments and 9 contemporary Garden Villas, as well as seeing two 1960’s blocks retrofitted and upgraded behind the iconic crescent building. Due to bomb damage sustained during WWII, it was not viable to retain the original Grade I listed façade so, following extensive consultation and research, it was demolished and rebuilt. The first ever reconstruction of a Grade I listed façade!

We were appointed by the contractor, Midgard Ltd., to act as the Acoustic Consultant through the full design and build including the acoustic detailing of internal walls and floors, façade design, building services, mechanical plant, etc. Of particular interest were the subterranean mechanical car stackers. The existing building also had some very interesting features including an old ice house that was uncovered as part of the project. Details of the ice house can be found here.

We are delighted to share a short video with you where you can look at the completed development and hear from the architects involved in this one-of-a-kind project. Please click here to find out more.
