Gull Wing project takes off
We’re delighted to have been appointed by Farrans Construction to assist with the preparation of a Section 61 Assessment for the Gull Wing project, Lowestoft. The project will see the construction of a new bridge, providing a much-needed third crossing over Lake Lothing.
The assessment required a pre-construction noise survey and extensive communication between Cass Allen, the Farrans team and key stakeholders, Suffolk County Council and East Suffolk Council. We then carried out detailed computer noise modelling predictions for multiple phases of the works and prepared a detailed monitoring regime to secure successful agreement of the S61.
