Driving down noise levels at Vauxhall Way
Luton Borough Council recently appointed our team to assess noise levels related to the phased dualling of Vauxhall Way. This exciting project sees the construction of new sections of highway and alterations to the existing highway to transform the main route into and out of Luton and improve facilities for pedestrians and cyclists in the area.
The works fall under the requirements of the Noise Insulation Regulations 1975 and as such, our involvement included predictive 3D computer noise modelling together with surveys to determine whether any dwellings are eligible for noise insulation upgrades and ensure compliance is met across the scheme.
